Week of May 18 - 22

Music Monday

Remember the fun we had in second term learning clapping and stick games? This week, we thought we’d add some more games to your repertoire! Choose one (or both) of the songs below and learn a new clapping game. You will need to include a family member in the fun!

*Note: Make sure to click “Student Demo” on the “Movie” section of the website to see how each clapping game works

-The Evening News -

Remember ISO News?!?! If you don’t, it’s DEFINITELY worth a watch!!

Now it's YOUR TURN!

To get started, open the “Writing a News Broadcast” THINK SHEET. This is the same format that we used to document our ideas for ISO News before we started filming. Your ideas can be based on observations around your home and/or your own imagination and creativity!

Special Note: This is a great project to include your whole family in

As always, have FUN and don’t forget to share your videos with us!

Extras/Extensions:

Extra opportunity to be creative? Refer to Shadow Hand Puppet PowerPoint for how to make various animals (Found in Whole School THINK SHEETS Folder.) Set up a sheet in your basement or pop a tent in your backyard to create the perfect backdrop for this lost art of storytelling!

Oh, and don’t forget to share your videos with us!
